Question 2 Water Questions

1. Anybody know what the average gallons per minute that the stock shower from Keystone would run? I have been playing with our new Bullet 246RBS and am curious how fast I will be filling the grey tanks if we don't go military shower style or run the kitchen sink faucet constantly while washing dishes.
2. While playing with my water I noticed that before I knew it my sensors were saying 2/3 full on the grey. So, I got out my 7 gallon aquatainer and drained the grey. I figure I only got out about 10-11 gallons but that should only be 1/3 not 2/3 full on a 30 gallon grey tank. Should I be contacting the dealer/Keystone to confirm the holding tank size? We were under the assumption 30 gallons meant 30 gallons! After it was drained the sensor read empty.

Not sure about water flow rates but the tank sensors are next to worthless and are rarely correct.

If I were you, I would drain the tank completely then using a 5 gallon bucket pour 5 gallons at a time into the bath tub. Thirty gallon tank would be 6 buckets or 3 buckets for 1/2 tank. Adding one more bucket should cause the tank to back up into the tub.

I was just thinking the same thing. We have a deep kitchen sink so I was thinking a gallon jug 30 times filled from the faucet so I dont have to lug buckets of water around! Thanks for the reply!

Putting it into the sink is fine but when full it will back up to the shower. And you can fill the bucket in the shower with the shower wand and not have to lug anything.
As for the water usage, it depends on the showerhead and the installed restricter.

When you fill the bucket in the shower, time how long it takes for five gallons and you will have your answer.

I did the gallon at a time to see where my cut off points were. At 3 gallons it starts showing 1/3 until I get to 11 gallons and then it goes to 2/3 up until 20 gallons when it starts showing full. It sort of looks like the sensors are placed so that it registers at the bottom of the 1/3 you are currently in. 0-10=1/3, 11-20=2/3, 21-30=full. Kind of a crazy way to think of it but its possible. I just need to remember that if it says 2/3 I have between 10-20 gallons of water in the tank.
Hank, good idea about the bucket and timing a 5 gallon fill from the showerhead/wand. I'll give it a try when we hook up next time. Bullet has been put away until next weekend!

Howdy All;

Just looked at mine. On the face (the side with all the holes),
it has printed in raised letters, 2.5 GPM.
