2002 Keystone Air Conditioner

I have no paperwork as to how to initiate the Air conditioner. Is it itegrated into the furnace thermostat? I do switch the mode on it from furnace to cool. I think when I push the thermostat up a bit something up in the ceiling where the conditioner is clicks but nothing really runs like the compressor or fan.

It depends on how your AC is set up. If there isn’t any controls on the ceiling panel, then the thermostat controls it. Depending on which thermostat you have will determine how to “request” A/C.

If you can post a pic of the thermostat it would help.

You should be turning the thermostat down for the compressor to come on. What ever the thermostat shows for inside air turn down 2-5 deg below and listen for the air to come on.

The way tou have the thermostat set in the picture, the a/c fan and compressor should come on. If not, check the breaker. If that's ok, you have a problem with the thermostat or unit on the roof.

Is the fan at least coming on? If not I would check the breaker first.

With your shown setting the fan switch set to on & high speed the fan should be running constantly, if not check 120 volt power. With the fan set to auto it should run only when the ac kicks on.
