Which pin box - Air, rubber or glide?
Hello folks, I recently upgraded to a 2011 Fuzion 405 toyhauler and definitely notice a difference in the ride while towing (I've ridden smoother bulls). I plan to eventually upgrade the hitch in the dually, but want to first switch out the pin box on the 5er. I've been researching and hope someone out there can give an educated opinion on which of the types is better - the Mor Ryde rubber mount, the Demco glide ride, or the 5th airborne or Ultra Fab Trailair air rides.
I appreciate the help!!

I'll throw another one at you...
Tri Glide TrailAir:
It is a TrailAir pin box with the Demco Glide type (they call their version the Tri Glide) pin plate already attached. The regular TrailAir doesn't have the Tri Glide plate. Takes care of up / down and fore / aft jolting. I won't have another 5er without it.

If you search a bit there was a recent thread with a lot of info on your very question.
I use and really like the MoRyde pinbox but have no first hand exp with others.

We found a used trailair (older version) by chance. Wonder how we ever towed without it.

My Trail Air triglide REALLY helped my ride. Lot less stress on trailer frame also.

I started with the fixed pinbox, upgraded after a single trip to the trailair pinbox, after 11 months I upgraded the lower jaw to the triglide. It is FAR cheaper to do the trailair with the triglide then but them one at a time.
I tell everyone to get some form of air pinbox - simply because it reduces the stresses on the trailer frame - which will reduce the chances of frame cracking, etc.

We have the TrailAir Tri-Glide on our SOB, feel it gives a better ride the the MorRyde that was on our previous Montana.

Thanks for the opinions. I hadn't heard of the tri-glide before. Looks a little pricey, but compared to the price of the RV and the TV, it's pretty insignificant if it works as well as advertised.
