Is fresh water tank full on 327RES

I could always tell when my fresh water tank on my old TT was full as I could see the water spill out of the overflow on the fresh water tank. On my new 327RES the tank is sealed in the under belly, so how can I tell if it's full as I don't see any tube protruding out of the underbelly for overflow? Do I just wait till it shoots out of the filler neck?

Where the fill port is there should be a screened vent just above that exhausts air so when water comes out the vent, you are full. Hope this helps. Happy Campin.............Ron

There should be a vent opening right next to the filler cap. When you are filling the tank, you will get a noticeable gurgling sound when the tank is full just before a stream of water shoots out of the vent.

Two points here.....

First, it is good to have a shut-off of some kind on the filler end of the hose so that you can shut it off right away. If you are quick enough, you can even stop it before it geysers.

Second, it is suggested that you don't stand directly in front of the vent opening and get distracted for any reason....

Answer to "First": Yes I do.
Answer to "Second": I understand this is important to not get the major pee'd in you pants accident look.

Thanks all

I just filled mine this past weekend. I heard some gurgling, but the water didn’t come out of the vent first. I’m not sure why it would since the vent is higher than the fill spout. So I just let it geyser a bit out the fill spout while standing to the side.
