Window blew out

I have a 2019 240 URS that is less than a month old. It was parked at my friends place while I was at work. He said he was outside and heard a noise and when he went to check the window was blown from the inside out. No chance of rocks, kids or anything like that its on 3 acers far from the road. The only thing I can think it could be is its hot as all get out.

I called the dealer he said he would submit it for warrenty but I'm not holding my breath. Has anyone else ever had a window blow out like this?

did you verify that the glass blew outward and not inward?

Yes the screen is fully intact and there is not a drop of glass on the inside.

When I owned a Ford dealership I've had it happen to vehicles on the lot. Heat just shatter them. Insurance covered it. Not warranty.

I had this happen. They covered under warranty. It was two days old. No issues since. It was in four wall enclosed storage. You also could see it blew from inside out.

We had our patio door blow out on our house for no reason. They call it spontaneous glass breakage.
