Tv connection
We just took delivery of our brand new 2018 Keystone Alpine 3501RL. We are connected to the local cable tv service. We do not have a clear picture on either rear tv. The tv in the bedroom is better but still not good. When going up the steps or closing the outside storage covers reception gets better or worse. When we connect the incoming cable directly to the tv it is very clear. Does anyone know where the splitter is located for tv cables?

Sounds like you may not have a tight connection with the cable box or the camper. Also make sure you are not connected to the satellite connection. The splitters should be behind the electric switch cover that has the booster button on it.
For cable, booster has to be off and you need to do a scan for cable channels.

Thanks Chip. Been working with hand tools for eons and did not know this one existed. the other one that comes up also installs the connector. Our TT has a recessed male outside for the cable hookup and it's a PITA to access and tighten with a 7/16 open end. This will help.

I keep this handy and it cost a whole dollar more chukster! A 7/16 open end wrench won't fit everywhere. On our unit the coax input on the outside is semi recessed and a wrench won't work. Many television sets pose the same issue which for people like me that have larger than average hands and carpal tunnel these tools are well worth the money. YMMV

Wow, the picture of the co-ax wrench gave me a flashback. Looks like a chrome version of the oil pressure sending unit wrench I have in my box that fits a '74 Ford Torino!
Oops! Off topic - my bad

I’m contemplating getting yet ANOTHER tool box for all the special gizmos one needs for this job. That just may be the next “special” tool I get.

Congrats on the new Alpine. Let us know what you figure out. I have a better picture and more channels in the bedroom than I do the living room on my Alpine.
