Hi,

I picked up a small one off of Amazon and also a Timer.

I run it year round, 4 hrs a day as it's rather humid up here in the Great North-Wet!!!

Seems like the more you spend, the quieter the unit. I got one a few years ago. It's noisy, but it only runs when the 5ver is between trips. Summer humidity here in Florida is really tough.

We got an Eva-dry 2200 last spring. Definitely very quiet, but it isn't as efficient as the house dehumidifier we have in our basement at home. But, they work in very different ways, so I was expecting it to not be as fast or good as the big house one. It does what we want it to do while we are camping, which is be quiet and keep the water (humidity) off the windows so they don't fog up. It works great for that. And is fairly small so we aren't tripping over it and can store it easily.

We bought a Hisense 35 pint unit from Lowes this past winter (note: past woo hoo!). At first it seemed like it might be a little large but it fits perfectly at the end of the island, isn't too loud and does a GREAT job of pulling water out of the air. DW and I were amazed at the amount of water it could get out. We were in the FL panhandle and you can really feel the difference in the air inside the camper.
