Quite possibly the stupidest question ever asked on this forum...
Where is the valve for the second grey tank on my Bullet 246RBS? I'm pretty sure the valve to the bath is the one next to the black tank valve, but I don't know where the valve for the galley grey tank is. Help!
(Unsure because my sensors always say my tanks are either 3/4 or completely full, even after I've emptied. The calgon powder has been purchased.)

Look behind the rear wheel of the RV on the driver's side. It may be tucked away or behind something and isn't easily seen or accessed.
Faulty tank readings - especially black and gray tanks - are not uncommon.
Don't feel bad about asking this question. If it's any comfort, many members have asked this very same question long before you joined!

On my 28RBS it is in front of the wheels on the driver side. Now, it could be that the valve handle fell off. This happened to me on a trip and confused the hell outta me until I concluded that it had indeed fallen off. Now I keep spares.

Are you sure you have 2 tanks. When I looked up your trailer it said grey tank was 30 gallons. Bullet uses generic panels for all trailers so they all show 2 tanks on the panel whether or not there are 2 tanks. My friend has a Bullet 248 bad he had a second sewer hose connection at the rear end of the trailer.

Our Cougar also shows Galley Tank on the panel, but there isn't a second grey tank. Never had it read like there was water in it, though.

Like GaryWT said, looking at your floor plan the galley and bath are so close together that I would think they share the same gray tank.

Well crud, guys, now that I'm looking, I can't find anything that tells me I do have 2! I swear I had two tanks! Don't I feel like an idiot.
ETA: If only my certainty that I had two 30 gal tanks were in fact real!

A very valid question JRB, and that's why RV forums exist. When in doubt, just ask!
Specs show 30 gal gray & 30 gal black/waste... you have ONE GRAY tank not 2 (unfortunately). As stated, your
kitchen sink & bath (shower/sink) drain to the same tank.
http://www.keystonerv.com/previous-y...llet&year=2013
Tank sizes (gallons) may vary by brand/model, but only "one" gray tank is not uncommon in the lighter-weight
or smaller/shorter RV's. Our Laredo had a single gray tank.
Hope this helps,
Terri, the Chevy co-pilot

Hey with RVs there is constant discovery...my learning curve is pretty high right now with a new rig. My Bullet 310BHD does indeed have two gray water tanks, and the valves are right together along with the black water valve. We I got it I was missing one of the T handles...took me a time to figure it out. The indicator lights never seem to read right...I think it's just a quirk with Keystone. A forum like this is just the place for questions like yours...we all learn right along with you.

There is only 1 black and 1 gray tank on the 246RBS. Yes, I know the panel says there are 2 but I have the same model and there is only 1 of each.

The comment about having spare handles is a good one. I haven't lost one yet but mine have been loose multiple times and I'm afraid it's only time before one "drops off".

28RBS has 2 gray tanks and 1 black. Probably just the same gauge inside. One gray by the black valve and one in front of the wheels.

Had our Nomad almost 4 years before I realized it had a big drawer underneath the pull out couch.

We have 2 gray tanks and I kinda wish it was one. I get the fact that they want to distribute weight a little better with 2 tanks, but this means that 1 tank is always empty in my kitchen and my tank for the bathroom is always full. I've started to wash my hands in the kitchen to save the bathroom tank for showers when we don't have sewer hookups, but it was kind of a tease when we saw there was a 60 gallon gray tank and it turned out to be 2 30 gallon tanks.
Side note: Both our gray handles are next to each other near the black tank drain. We also lost one of the gray handles within a month of having our trailer. Couple bucks replaced it and I could've used it without the handle, but it's nice to have what's supposed to be there.

Re: Quite possibly the stupidest question ever asked on this forum...
Speaking of the tank levels not reading right in a Keystone, Does anyone have a solution for cleaning the sensors in the grey tank without cutting through my enclosed underbelly. I know I can flush the black tank down the toilet with my wand blaster , but how can I clean out the grey?

You might want to start a new thread so more will see the question.
I leave my gray tank pen and rarely look at any of the levels so I do not know if the are working or not.
I guess for the gray tank, I would fill it while at home and dump it once I was hooked up at the campground. Hoping that the motion while traveling would clean it.

Put about 10-20 gal in it with some Dawn dish soap and drive it. Try to run the hot water tank cold just before you drive it.

THANKS for the suggestions! They are very simple. Will try that when I take her out for the last trip of the season in 2 weeks!
