Television

We have a 2017 262LHS. We've had it since last year, but just now getting around to adding a TV to the unit. The only plugs we have are the coax, and the red/white/yellow. I plugged in just the coax cable, thinking that I should be able to scan for channels to verify everything was working, but the scan came up empty. It doesn't look like I have a booster and the antenna looks to be omnidirectional, so no adjusting. Anyone have the same model or similar? Thanks!

If it's like ours, there should be a small button next to the coax. That's the booster off/on switch. Ours has a small green LED that lights up when the booster is on. The Omni antennas are really bad. No booster no signal at our house. The red/white/yellow jacks come from your DVD. No booster needed there. I've heard others say their booster was located in odd places like the storage compartment and closet???
Good Luck

In my LHS 202 the booster is on the ceiling in the bedroom where the tv mount is. Push the button and should be green LED light. On is OTA and off is cable. Hope this helps.

Yeah, check every cupboard, especially near where the antenna is. There will be a wall plate somewhere with a booster. Some newer higher end units may not have the booster.

And make sure your tv is set to "air". And depending on location, you might not always get reception.

Download the Winegard app, it shows the directions of the strongest nearest translators, unless you have an omnidirectional antenna, which BTW don't work very well.
