Your pass through storage looks great, you did a good job.
It is tough keeping all your "stuff" organized. I use several clear plastic storage boxes.

Thanks. Originally, I had everything in oversized plastic bins that just barely made it through the storage door. However, I've now learned that big is not necessarily practical. I've consolidated down to just 4 smaller plastic bins, 1 black for sewer hoses, 1 clear for clean water hoses/filters/fittings, and 2 flat bins that hold stabilizer/jack pads and chocks. I now have room for all the fishing gear as well as a space that you can find things easily.
Now, it's time to organize the inside pantries.

I call it hotrodding your trailer. Modifying it to suit your personal preferences and performance requirements (wetbolts, tires, batteries, etc.) is always an enjoyable pursuit towards pride of ownership.
Don't forget a Flagpole Buddy... or
Yesterday was Flag Day and the 241st birthday of the US Army, BTW. Hoorah!

I mounted a 6" irrigation pvc pipe under the 5er with a cap on one end and a screwed on cap on the other end. I put the sewer hose in this. I don't like to put any part of the sewer inside the rig. I also cut a 3' pvc pipe in half and it fits into the 6" pipe also. I use this along with the stinky slinky to support the flexible hose. I used plumbers' strap to mount the pipe. It has been under there for 7 years so far.

Most expensive mod to date
This mod was way overdue. Our 5 year old learned to ride his bike (without training wheels) several months ago and now all I hear is, "can I ride my bike around the campground?" It's a class 2 hitch welded to the frame rails by a local welding shop. I still need to paint the welds and areas where there is bare metal. Overall, I couldn't be more happy. I'll probably add a couple stainless steel hooks below the bumper in order to secure tie downs when the bikes are mounted.

I found the Itso plastic bins at Target work great in my pantry. I use 3 across which leaves space behind for extra canned/bottled stuff. Do need to take out the middle bin to release either of the other bins.
Mi sort my pantry goods into Baking, Lunch, Beverages, Fruit & Vegetables, etc. I store the related extras behind the bins.

Great ideas
What did you use for the entry steps and how did you fasten it so it does not come loose.
Will be using the back splash idea myself.
Thanks for the great tips.

I found an RV tip online talking about using cheap Walmart doormats as entry step covers. They are around 3 bucks each. They look like outdoor carpeting rugs. I think they are 18" x 36". Cut them right down the middle. You get two covers out of each doormat. Then buy extra long black zip ties from Harbor Freight and eyelets and punch kit from the fabric department at Walmart. Punch 3 eyelets on each side and install on each step. Secure with the zip ties. Looks just like the the $12 per step rugs from Camping World and Amazon. Only costs about $20 in materials for 6 steps. After about 8 trips, they still look like I just installed them. Should get about 3 to 4 years out of them.

Marker lights mod
One of the cheapest mods so far was to have the marker lights on at night for ambient lighting around the campsite. So I bought a $7 TV 7-way connector and $3 mini in-line fuse holder from Walmart. Dremel'd out the back of the 7-way, connected the #3 and #4 pin via the in-line fuse, and plugged in the trailer's wiring harness into it. Tomorrow, I will screw mount the connector to the top of the battery rack on the side not in use. It was nice to have the marker lights on behind the trailer over the weekend as I had to fix a water hose leak.

I was wondering what the attachment on your front stabilizers are for and how did you attach them to the stabilizer? Interesting.

They are BAL lock-arms that I bought to help reduce trailer movement after the stabilizer jacks are down and in position. I've only installed the two up front to help with back and forth motion. I now need to install two more on the rear of the trailer (directly underneath the bunkhouse) for lateral movement. 3 rambunctious boys waking up at 7 am is not a good alarm clock.

Sewer Hose Storage
So, I became tired of packing away my sewer hoses and adapters in a storage tote inside the passthrough compartment. I did this...

No, it's fabricated from a 5"x5"x8ft vinyl fence post. Perfect length, no trimming needed. The vinyl half-round gutter is 10 feet long so it must be trimmed to the 8ft. A few dowel rod cuts to section off the sewer attachments and several different lengths of sewer hose makes it a breeze to dump your tanks. I cut a perforated piece of angle iron in order to mount the post below the gas line running along the passenger side underbelly.
Vinyl post caps and some elastic bungee cords secured with ss hardware allows for easy access and closure.
A few coats of black primer and paint makes it look like a factory installed option. And it's very close and convenient to the black/grey valves too. I originally was going to mount it on top the bumper with strapping. It just looked too obvious that it was an aftermarket post on top the bumper. The angle iron provided me with a better location.
Materials from Lowes:
Vinyl Gutter
Vinyl Fence Post
(4) 6" SS lag bolts, SS washers, and nylon lock nuts.
(1) 3' section of perforated angle iron
(1) 48" 1-inch Dowel Rod
(1) can of Gloss Black Spray Paint
(2) small bungee cords with end hooks and mounting screws

I did the exact same thing and cannot recommend it enough. Great add-on and makes dealing with the sewer hose so easy.

Really don't have to go through the trouble of buying a coupler. You can take a simple push in car fuse, 10 amp is plenty. give the spades a slight twist with a pliers to match the pins on the camper plug. It then gets slipped in the top most pins (directly under the top knotch)
You then have a safe fused link turning on your lights that the inverter keeps up through the battery. Easily stored in the corner of the cubby or inside drawer.

Love what you've done. We just bought our first TT... very good tips. What did you use to mount your fishing poles?

I mounted 1" inch wide velcro on top of 3 inch blocks of wood. The wood was then mounted to the interior front wall of the passthrough with oversided 3M Command velcro strips. This way, it's not permanent in case I need to add additional poles. They've held nicely all summer.
