Outdoor faucet

Hello all. I have a 2010 Keystone Cougar Xlite 26BHS with an outdoor two burner stove and a faucet. I’m trying to figure out how to get the faucet to work. My dad bought this unit new and I bought it from him but not sure the outdoor faucet has ever been used but it sure would come in handy. Any help appreciated. I have tried connecting the hose to the coupling and tried it on City water and on the water pump.

Easy peasy. Pull back the collar (towards the trailer) on the silver connector between the hot and cold valves, insert the male brass connector, You may have to use a tiny bit of force, make sure you have water in the tank or connected to city water and turn on hot and or cold valves. It's like hooking up an air hose.

Thanks for the info and I got that part. In mine the collar actually pushes in toward the wall rather than pulling out. Could that be the issue? Even after hooking the hose up and hearing the connection click, still no water flow.

Ok, so I unscrewed the connection to make sure it wasn’t blocked with sediment or something the turned on the water. This little blue plastic piece shot out when I turned on the water. Everything works fine now. This may be the first time this faucet has ever been used.

Maybe a water saving flow restricter?

It is a flow restricter. It was either clogged or stuck closed if it hasn’t ever been used previously. It has a purpose, so maybe soak it in CLR, flush and reinstall to see if it works.
