Maxxis 8008's on my 9k TT. E rated 15".

Original wheels / tires were 14". I put on new wheels, new tires, and new leaf springs.
The original leaf springs were flat. Now I have good clearance and the trailer follows quite wonderfully.

After doing enough research to satisfy myself, I went with Hercules ST225/75/R15F in place of my original 15 inch Trailer King E range tires. I was able to get them mounted on my rims for $660. out the door. Goodyear E is rated for 2,830 pounds, Carlisle CSL’s F rated at 3,080 pounds and the Hercules F is rated for 3,200 pounds. While I don’t ever plan on carrying that much weight, I’ve had tire issues in the past and for me, this was the right choice. Thanks to all for your thoughtful opinions and responses.

Did you keep the same OEM wheels that are rated at 2830 pounds? While you may have "improved the weakest link" if you've got the same wheels, you may have just moved the "weakest link" from one spot to another... There's not a "trending problem with wheels cracking" but they do have a history of issues and running LRF tires at 95PSI may contribute to wheel problems.....

It's a "done deal" now, but keep an eye on your wheels .....
