Solutions for cabinet doors that lift up.

In our trailer the bedroom cabinets, above the bed, now have doors on them instead of a shelf. There are 3 cabinet doors that "lift up". However my wife finds them useless as the doors are on standard hinges and you can't use 2 hands getting items out the cabinet. I told her to use her head to keep it open (literally) but said I can fix in the future. The future is approaching.

Has anyone used these LINK, or something like them, or have a better solution?

thanks
Jay

I have the same cabinets, doors and new hinges and have not found a way of installing the new hinges. Anyone have advise on getting them installed?

on my 2010 Springdale had the same problem. I just moved the hinges to the side of the doors. move them to the side away from the latch and you don't have to relocate the latch. the previous screw holes are hardly noticeable as they are above eye level.

I tried the hinge route, and the spring tube route. Both limited how much I could open the door. I ended up using a magnetic door stop. I screwed one end into the door and the other end into the ceiling. Now DW can fully open the door.

Thanks for the ideas. In about a month the trailer will be moved from storage and I'll start whittling down the list of improvements
