Water Pump

We have a problem when using city water, water drains into the holding tank. The water pump on our 2013 Cougar X lite is located behind the fuse panel. It is to small of an opening to work on it from inside. The only way to access the pump would be to remove the outside shower panel. Should we replace the pump or just the check valve. Also the holding tank fills about half full in two days. thanks. Larry

If the city water is flowing into the freshwater tank it could be the check valve on the pump or if you have one supply hose fitting and a valve to choose between city water and filling the tank it could be that selector valve leaking.

Thanks for the reply. I don't have a switch to regulate each tank, they are separate Thanks Larry

If your power distribution panel is 110VAC on one side and 12VDC on the other, you should have enough room to repair/replace the water pump. I have done it in more cramped quarters.
