3rd grey tank?

Where is the valve for the third grey tank. I can only find 2 and my display says it is full.

We have no idea if you have a Scamp Deluxe or a custom Powerhouse Coach. I suspect you have neither of these RV's nor have three grey tanks. Post up your model and year and then we'll go from there.

A little snooping reveals he's got an Avalanche 390DS. A "new" floor plan with 132 gallons of grey water capacity.

The thing is huge! I've got no idea how it's set up for draining the tanks. The first thing I'd do a take a walk along the driver's side of the camper, looking carefully for small labels that state "grey tank". The valve handle is going to be below that. Otherwise, crawling along under the edge and looking up into the frame/outrigger area to find one or two 'T' handles.

The 3rd grey tank is the one in question. I have two valves for tank 1 and 2 but nothing for the third. The panel inside shows gray tank 3 full but no way to release it on the outside panel.

The handle for the 3rd tank should be back near the rear bedroom somewhere. That too far to run a cable to put it with the other too. I’m guessing there is also a rear sewer connection there. The handle should be somewhere near the handle for the rear bath black tank. Probably tucked up by the frame under the bedroom slide.

Got it! There are two valve pulls on the frame under the back bedroom slide out. Thank you!

I have 3-into-1 manifold on ‘06 Outback 28KRS. One near front under bathroom for lavatory and shower, middle one is black tank, third in front of tires is kitchen- all guesses. Thankfully have 36g Rhino tank! Like the rig but wish it had detailed schematics like my previous Winnebago did. Loved that 37G but don’t understand why they keep manufacturing products with known defects. Same with the Silverado, same with the F150. If you know something’s wrong fix it. They’d rather deal with the recalls and the repairs after the fact, don’t get it. Anywhere to get an underbelly diagram of this TT before I drop the frost barrier?

Not going to be able to get a schematic of the plumbing. Personally, I always just filled a tank about 1/3 and pulled the handles to determine which was which.

Look up the specs for your trailer manufacturer and model trailer to confirm the number of gray tanks.. Trailers often have 1 fresh water, 1-2 black and 1-2 grey tanks, albeit the displays are generic. A false display level is common since tank level monitors are not very reliable.

Typically the specs list total capacities rather than number of tanks.
Also the capacity listed for the fresh water includes the water heater. Example; if the specs state you have 100 gallons of fresh water with a 12 gallon water heater you have an 88 gallon fresh water tank.
If you have 2 toilets, 1 on opposite ends of the rv, you WILL have 2 black tanks, the 1/2 bath may possibly have the sink drain into that black tank, if not it will have a tank with a drain & valve somewhere. Most all rvs of any size/length will have 2 grey tanks, 1 for bath sink & shower, with the other for the kitchen, each should have its own pull handle some where. Smaller/shorter rvs will have the bath & kitchen into the same single grey tank with a separate black tank.
And I can agree that the level sensors are just one step to being absolutely useless, but they do have pretty lights.

Wow! That thing is amazing. I couldn't imagine 10 feet longer than mine. Beautiful.

Back in post# 3 wrvond posted it.

He probably found it in the OP's very first post to the forum.
https://www.keystoneforums.com/forum...ad.php?t=52523

That is the only place it has ever been listed.

Between the back two slides there are valves for second black tank and 3rd grey tank
in my 390DS the black tank lever inside the control area (water pulls and cables) is for the 2nd grey tank in the kitchen , the right grey lever(farthest from the labeled black lever) drains my front black tank
