cable issue

I'm 99 percent sure this can't be done but I thought i would put it out there. At out campground we have wifi. We connect our tv to Roko via hdmi cable. Can we run that service thru the trailer to the other tv via regular cable wires without running hdmi wires.

Not sure if an HDMI to Coax adapter exists but that is where I would start. Another Roku isn't that expensive we just picked up 2 for $30 each

You can’t use the wiring built in to the camper, so either way you will need to run a wire.

But a couple of questions: Does the Roku have a coax output and does the other TV have a coax input? Will your Roku support two TV’s at the same time? It might be cheaper and more visually pleasing to get a second Roku?

We used two Amazon Firesticks before we purchased a smart TV which eliminated the need for a box or device.

Since the Roku uses WiFi, why not just spring for additional Roku units for those other televisions so you don't have to worry about wiring. A Roku only has one HDMI out and I am not sure this signal could be split to receive the Roku picture on some other TV. We have a bunch of Roku boxes in our house that share our home WiFi.

You may be able to find a coax-to-HDMI adapter, but you will never find an HDMI-to-coax adapter. The whole point of HDMI technology was to make Hollywood copyright owners happy -- to mandate encryption handshakes that ensure you can play program material on an HDMI-approved unit like a display screen, but not route it to a video recorder or other device that would allow you to make copies.

HDMI converters can be obtained for network cabling and for composite video-audio but not a 2 conductor rg cable that I've ever seen. There are slitters for HDMI but any way you slice it both tvs would would have the same signal at the same time, i.e. no independent control.

ROKU units are often very reasonably priced and easily obtained. WalMart, Home Depot, most big box stores and many smaller stores sell them. Of course they are available on the web and typically on sale. Now days you could likely pick on up for less than the cost of 2 doz eggs.

I bought a second fire stick ( same this as the rocu) and I fed up of swopping it from the room to the living room. So ended up getting a second one.

I ran hdmi cable and a second cable to the bedroom and bunk tv from livingroom and still have my satelite and antenna connected, just select the inputs on the TV so you can watch different programing.
