gas or electric cooking

In regards to cooking, economical wise, would it be cost efficient to use
electric or gas when cooking? ... since we do a lot of cooking meal wise
anyway. thank you for your advice.

Very few (if any) RV's come from the factory with electric stoves.

And none of the campgrounds are wired for that kind of electric draw.

We do all of our cooking outside in cast iron over the open fire that way you do not smell up the inside of the trailer,and the food tastes better. Plus you do not have the mess inside.

We usually set up an EZ Up room and do most of our cooking in there. An electric griddle, electric skillet, crock pot, etc... works great. Nothing starves the neighbors better than cooking bacon out doors. We, also, use our gas grill. Does keep the food odors and mess out of the RV.

x2 but not open fire, in Dutch Ovens with briquet's and a cast iron hot plate on the barbeque for breakfast............Happy Campin.............Ron

Same here but I do have a electric coffee pot, Coleman propane two burner stove and a propane grill. I carry charcoal and Girl Scout water for when the mood hits me.

Jim&Kay we have two crock pots in the RV plus two in the stick house. Cant beat that, get it on in the morning and eat it at suppertime meal.

We do the exact same thing. 2 burner coleman propane stove with a griddle that fits on the burners when needed, weberQ100 grill, crockpot, and a purculator for coffee (although we have an electric drip if we are in a hurry or have a big group and want two pots.

That's why we bake in the Dutch Ovens, great food come out of these things. Last weekend where we were camping there was a fire ban so the Dutch Ovens didn't come out no briquets no fire notta, but still did the same reciepes in the convection oven. Happy Campin...............Ron

With two big dog's like that it has to be really cramped,because we have one dog the same kind 108 pounds and we are cramped.
