Recliner Removal

The parachute pull cord on my recliner broke. How do you remove the recliner so I can replace the cord?

If it is in your camper it has a back that will pull out of the frame. It may or may not be fastened to the floor.

Is it a single recliner, love seat or theater seating? We've had recliners that had a base that moved around, recliners screwed to the floor and theater seating screwed to the floor. The theater seating (if there are 2 recliners side by side) may have a bracket between the 2 that the 2nd recliner slides down into. You can see it when you recline the chair and look under it. All of the backs came off.
