air conditioning

I have a 36' with a rear bunkhouse. The AC does not really reach into the front bedroom. I'm considering purchasing a separate AC portable unit, and connecting it to the main plug-in at the panel of the individual RV spot, via a extension cord into the outlet for the individual space. I understand that it is not an option to add a rooftop unit on our 30 amp setup. We always stay at full service RV parks. Any suggestions for a good mobile unit?

I've never owned one but one of our members, wiredgeorge, uses one I believe and has had good results. You might PM him to get some inside info if he doesn't respond to this thread.
