Nice to join you all!

Well, I went into this with eyes wide open! Got tired of tent camping, so I bought a starter travel trailer, a used 2021 Keystone Springdale 1750RD, my wife liked all the windows in the back, so that's all that really mattered, haha! I knew these entry level trailers were built cheap, but wow...By the time I pulled it home, I realized the brakes didn't work, after sitting in the driveway for a few days, it has a leak, and the shower walls look like they were glued on, and are coming apart, lol! Good thing I'm handy, because the dealer has told "oh well"...Anyways, glad to join you all here, I've owned several boats, and the forums are great in many different ways!

Welcome to the forum! Lots of good folks with tons of knowledge willing to help.

The issues you're going to have with a used trailer from an unknown party could be few or a lot - you're in the discovery phase. Get a multi meter and learn how to use it. Post your issues here in the proper forum with all the background info you can with details of the issue and what you have or haven't done to fix it. Focus on one issue at a time.

Brakes have multiple facets to consider; electrical and mechanical so more info on the exact symptoms will help. Leak? From the brakes or elsewhere? Specify. Shower walls may well be glued on with some little brad anchors to boot.

Dive in, check it out and let us know.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Buying a used RV, or anything used for that matter, can be lots of fun (?) if you don't know the history of it. Glad to hear you are handy fixing things!

Take care and have fun with the project!

My surround on my ancient 2002 Cougar had pop rivets holding the surround in place and ALL were cracked; some spider web and some badly. I replaced the surround; bought it from Amazon or eBay (can't recall) and glued it with super adhesive purpose blended 3M glue (can't recall what it was called) but it is still firmly in place a few years later. It was about 1" shorter than the original and I covered the area with decorative self stick tiles (the 4" type).
