The first question I have to ask: Have you found the Galley gate valve handle???? Montanas as with many other newer rigs have a total of 4 tanks, a fresh water tank, the Black Tank, and two Gray holding tanks, Gray one is usually the shower and sometimes the washer drain, then the second Gray or Galley tank, which handles the kitchen sink. there should be a second gray handle on the road side frame, just infront of the front axle or on some units it located on the frame between the axles. If you go over and join the Montana Owners Forum, http://www.montanaowners.com/ , you probably get an answer from someone with your exact model who can tell you exactly where that handle is.That is a very common problem for new Montana owners.

There are the two in the hook up station and I found one under one of the slides on the same side as the hook up station. Where else would I look?

That is all there is. 1.black 1.gray 1.galley - If you have ever overfilled the galley tank there may be debris in the mechanical vent for that tank. Most galley tanks are not vented trough to the roof and have a (cheater) vent under the sink cabinet. Simply unscrew it and see if it is working properly.
Of course that big diamond you always wear may have fallen out of it's setting and is clogging the drain. Let us know what you find, Hank

What does the cheater vent look like?

The "cheater" vent is located under your kitchen sink near your P trap. It is a small, ABS plastic fitting/cap at the end of a short black pipe. It has a simple, screw fitting, is spring-loaded and has a rubber diaphragm inside. This rubber diaphragm may be cracked, brittle, clogged or damaged and could cause improper drainage and/or odours if it isn't working properly.
Once you find it, unscrew and examine it. Have a look at the seal and make sure it looks and feels good as well as the spring mechanism.
There may also be some debris in the short pipe.
Try checking the cheater vent and let us know how you make out.

The temperature in Mapleton, UT has been in the mid to high teens at night and up to about freezing in the day. The "basement heat" in your RV is essentially directed at the front tanks and the fresh water tank, the gray tank for the kitchen is not heated as well. There is a very good chance that nothing is wrong with the "drain ability" of your RV, rather that tank or the drain valve and associated plumbing is simply frozen. Before going too far with tearing out your plumbing looking for something that may have "broken" I'd urge you to make sure that you're not just facing a frozen dump valve.

In one of my past posts associated with installing tank heaters, in the Mods section, I posted some pictures of the underbelly of my Alpine. As JRTJH mentioned, there is a 2.5 inch vent that comes off the furnace plenum and has Ts at the dump valves. The galley tank was at the end of this run, so probably not a lot of heat gets to it. The space around the galley tank would allow a lot of cold air infiltration. So, it might be a frozen valve or tank, it is possible.

If the sink is "stopped up" it's just like a stickbuilt house sink, use a plunger.

I still think that if you're in Utah in January and your sink won't drain, head outside, pull the gray sink drain and if nothing comes out, it's a frozen tank/dump valve.
