We just got home from a great weekend of camping, and I cannot get the deadbolt to unlock! This ever happen to anyone else or any suggestions? We can't unpack anything.

try pushing in on the door, sometimes the rubber seal will push out too hard, similarly try pushing up on door incase it sagged a little.

The trailer will flex some while traveling. Try lowering the stabelizer jack on the corner near the door. This may releave the pressure enough to let the deadbolt slide.

Doorlock
Its' not stuck or in a bind, the cylinder turns all the way around without any resistence,, like its not connected to anything! There are things we need, guess I'll have to call dealer tomorrow.

This has happened to numerous people. The dead bolt appearently can't take any stress that might be put on it when bouncing down the road. Not sure if this is what happened to yours or not. Might I suggest that you look at the hinges on the door and see if you can drive the hinge pins out. The pins can be driven out on mine.

The hinges are probably recessed with the door and out of sight with the door closed.

If you can get into the trailer through the pass-through or bunkhouse storage area, you can remove the screws on the door plate and door mechanism, and manually work the deadbolt, or just push on the assembly and remove the whole lock from the door.

Can you get in through the passthru or the bunkhouse? Are the boards just laying there or are they screwed in?

Not so on my Passport, the hinges and pins are exposed. OP has a Passport.

Door locks
The deadbolt failed on our new Laredo 294RK at 11pm. We were lucky to get an emergency locksmith to come out. It seems that the lock cylinder failed and we could not get the key to go all the way into the cylinder. The locksmith had to drill out the cylinder. Keystone will reimburse us for the new lockset and the
$150 service call. We are now members of the "never lock the door crew".
This is a different problem from the deadbolt binding in the slot. The new lite weight rvs have a lot of flex to them and you need to be careful when extending the stab jacks. Do not put too much pressure on the stabilizers as this will cause doors to bind up.

I found out long time ago to never lock dead bolt while traveling as it is not level and the flexing will cause a problem, I just lock the handle lock, works for me.
