Dometec refrigerator

I have the Dometec (sic) fridge. it will run on propane but sometiemes not run on power. For example, it will run on power then we change to propane but, when we get to our location and switch back to power, it won't work. It doesn't happen all the time just once in a while. Is this some kind of short?

If you have your fridge set to "Auto", it should make the changeover automatically without interruption from one source to the other.

^^^this^^^ or your fridge may have a bad control circuit board. Dometic fridges usually have an excellent buffer for the AC power to prevent damage to the board but it could just be a bad board. If you have warranty, have your dealer take a look.
