New to the forum!

Hello to all,
My name is Jim. My wife and 2 daughters and I are about to enjoy our 3rd camping season. We are from the northeast, so the camping season is short but since we are both teachers we try to make the most of the summer months and what little there is of late spring and early fall weekends. I am looking forward to sharing experiences with the good people on this forum and hoping to learn more in the process. I guess you can call us half-ton tow-ers in the market for an upgrade to a light weight TT with a bit more room, but I'll leave that for another post. I guess that is about it...I'm not sure how signatures work yet so I'll just sign off with,

Jim, DW, DD 6yr, DD 3.75yr
'11 Silverado, 1500 5.3L Z71 4x4 w/6sp, HD trailer pkg, off rd susp.
Tekonsha P3, Equalizer, upgrading from non-slide s.o.b. 24ft bunkhouse to Passport or Bullet

Jim, Welcome to the forum. I'm sure if you check out our "Lite Weight" section you will find info on both Passport and Bullet trailers. Good luck in your search for the right tailer for your family and travel safely, Hank

Thanks, Hank. I'm off to the light weight forum to ask that very question.
