Question

It appears that the components are newer in the first two pics
Were those parts replaced at some point?
They also seem to differ in that there does not appear to be a bolt through the rubber on the older/second two?
Can you find a difference in any visible part/model numbers?

The Equa-Flex system (by LIC) are junk, on my last trailer I put on the EZ-Flex system (by Dexter) and was really impressed. With EZ-Flex the trailer rode a lot smother on the cement roads and was a vast improvement over the stock system. The stock nylon bushing were a joke, they were all but gone after just 7K miles.

When my new Cougar came with the Equa-Flex system, I was impressed. However after my first big trip I was really disappointed in their performance. I've just ordered and new EX-Flex system and will be swapping them out soon and the nearly new Equa-Flex are going on eBay.

Equa-Flex TrailAir

After reading a tread by RdRmr, I checked mine this morning, and guess what. It’s brooked so badly that I will drive it slowly to get it fixed. If not for his post, I would never have seen it.

Apparently this thing is warranty for 12 months, and seems to be built to last 14. There is no way this solder joint should be broken after the little use it got.

We were leaving tomorrow for 3 weeks, luckily the shop has a much better replacement part in stock and we should be on the road Friday.

I strongly suggest that everyone check this.

A not so happy camper.
