Valance Removal

Before I get started replacing a blind, how do you remove the valence?

They will be screwed to the wall or even though to the bottom of an overhead cabinet with square drive screws. You will find the screws on top, or underneath, but there will be at least one on each end, somewhere. Ours are fabric covered valances, and the screws are hard to see but you can find them by feeling around for the heads of the screws.
