Welcome!
Not to rain on your parade, but you may want to check the numbers (yellow/white tag on drivers door) of your Gladiator.
The Passport GVWR is 6500lbs with a tongue weight of 800lbs+/- plus whoever/whatever else you put in the Jeep & your Jeep has a payload of just over 1000lbs, with one adult in the Jeep your overloaded. My friend just bought a Gladiator & the payload is 1085lbs, 500lb max tongue weight & I believe max tow weight of 5000, I believe you will exceed ALL of those with the Passport.
My Jeep Wrangler has a payload of 850lbs with a max towing weight of 3500lbs, meaning Jeeps are designed to go about anywhere you want to go, but not hauling much stuff as you go.
Yes your Jeep will tow it probably with ease, but was not deigned to be a rv tow vehicle. Watching Utube videos they match the Gladiator with Rangers, Tacoma's, Frontiers, Canyons & Colorado's non of which were designed to tow much more than a popup or utility trailer with lawnmowers, snowmobiles or atvs, certainly not a 26-28' 6500lb rv.

Sir, RVUSA says that camper is 5400 lbs gross weight. Probably overloading his Jeep but just want to keep it real.
