Coleman Thermostat

I've got a 2018 Keystone Outback 328RL. Don't care for the bare bones...on/off/auto manual switch unit. Would like to convert to a digital readout version.
Any suggestions on a better unit.Click image for larger version

I can run the fan and furnace but sometimes I can’t get the compressor to start. Take the cover off and it’ll start, snap the cover back on and it quits.

That sounds like a m echanical issue, i.e. a loose wire connection, or a cracked circuit board on the thermostat,

That thermostat is 24VDC, your trailer is 12VDC for the HVAC system thermostat. I’m suprised it works at all.
