Hitch Failure - Welds Broke - Equalizer WD

Check your equipment carefully. Had my hitch head crack and fully break off while backing it into my house yesterday. By the look of all the rust and oxidation on the metal vs rhe shiny silver "fresh" break it appears that there was a crack in the metal that let water in which compromised it and the torque of the bars sheared it right off. Thankfully it was right in our driveway, but the camper dropped right to the ground. Emailed Equalizer today. Hope they stand behind their product. Obviously this is a manufactured fail not user error.

Oh no! I'm so glad you weren't on the road when it happened.
