Full Timing in a new Cougar 28RLI

We have been CG hosting for the California State Parks for most of the last year, and also have experience hosting at National Parks. We have decided to sell the house and go FT.

We had a 28' TT, but it only had one small slide. After examining numerous 5'ers we went with the Cougar 28RLI. I wanted to keep the GVW down because although I have an F350 Dually, it's a '91 so I was uncomfortable with the weight of a trailer like a Montana.

So far we love the spaciousness of the Cougar for living, but were somewhat surprised with the lack of space for storing clothes, etc. I guess that's one of the trade offs of a lighter 5'er. Oh well -- sigh!

Nice Cougar!! Have to admit, having a hard time even considering giving up the stick and brick house. More I travel in these rigs I am more amazed how they survive these trips. Like stick house in a constant earthquake and tornado all at once. these roads are .............. ENJOY !!

Be Safe and Happy Camping

Well I've travelled in many different styles of campers including tow behinds from 13 thru 28', truck campers (still own a '95 Lance), and tent trailers. Never have owned a MH. I haven't destroyed one yet, although I came close on my '53 Aljo canned ham TT, but that was in my drinking days.

BTW, I screwed up the model number. Should have been 29RLI.
