Battery disconnect question

I noticed the last time I had our 5th wheel at home. Everything in the trailer worked with the battery in the disconnect position when plugged into 120 volt outlet. I assume this is normal. I normally switch the battery to the "on" position but forgot.
Does the battery still receive a charge in the off position when plugged into a 120 volt outlet?

On out 5er, the battery disconnect switch shuts off everything 12v except for the awning, landing gear, and slides. The batteries won't charge when the switch is off.

Plugging into shore power gets the convertor up and running so everything 12V inside will work. However as pointed out above if the battery disconnect is in the "disconnect" position, the charge line will not charge the battery(s).

The landing gear will operate. I don't think the slides will. Everything will once I plug the trailer into house power.
I was just curious if it charges the battery.
Thanks.

Thanks. Makes sense. I typically switch it on at home. I suppose it charges off the truck in the disconnect position.

Battery disconnect question

Depends on where the disconnect is. It's possible that the battery won't charge from the TV. I would hook up, start the engine and check voltage at the battery.
