Your fireplace is and your TV most likely is 110VAC.
If your enjoying a warm fire as you watch your favorite show and your not plugged into shore power or running a generator, then you are using "inverted" power.

Inverters take 12VDC and produce 110VAC

Converters take 110VAC and produce 12VDC.

It's not likely that your 5th wheel came with an inverter - unless the previous owner (if there was one) - had one installed.

Are you plugged into shore power and watching TV with the fireplace on or are you not plugged in?

I doubt very much if you have some of your lights, the TV and the fireplace all ON, and have had them on all evening, that your battery would have anything left IF the battery was connected to an inverter.

An inverter (not part of the O.E.) changes 12VDC to 110VAC while the converter (part of the RV's OE) changes 110VAC to 12vDC.

When not plugged in to power and just running off the battery all of our interior lights turn on, the fireplace and the radio. My wife corrected me and said we cannot watch tv unless plugged in. I dont know if there is an inverter or not but behind the radio there is an outlet that the radio is plugged into.

333mks inverter

Do you also have a household refrigerator, and if so does it stay on when your not plugged in?

I can't say I've seen 110V radios factory installed. Interior lights are 12VDC.

Im pretty sure the fridge is only on when the Propane is on. Im gonna have to check the radio plug within the next week or so and follow up.
