Welcome to the forum

First thing to look at is your tow vehicle if the lights worked before. Is this the first trailer your vehicle has been hooked to? What make and model is it?

The lights you referenced are powered from the TV and the fact it was delivered to you and were working only signifies that the rig lights are working. When you hook up your TV then it now becomes the source of power for the rigs lights. Have you ever used your TV to tow anything? Did trailer lights work? Should try getting a meter and measure voltages on the 7 pin plug on your TV. An INTERNET search will provide the pin layout

Check the connector on the TV bumper to make sure it is free of dirt and corrosion. I had a similar problem and it was just the trailer plug not making a good connection at the TV receptacle.

Also check the fuses. Most likely the fuses for towing are under the hood and not the dash.

Was the connection factory installed or after market?

Here is the simplest way to check the running lights on the trailer to help pinpoint whether the trailer is the problem or the truck (tow vehicle/TV) is the problem...

Short pins 3 and 4 on the trailer 7 way plug. If the running lights on the trailer light up, then you have a problem either making a good connection at the 7 way plug or the TV has fuse blown or wiring problem.

Read the following article on pins 3 and 4 of the trailer 7 way plug
