Torque wrench size for 31bhpr premium lug nuts

Hello,

I just bought a 31 bhpr premium. I have not picked up the rv yet.

I want to buy a good torque wrench and tire pressure tool rom Canadian tire.

However i see there are different sizes (3/8, 1/2,...)

Can anyone please advise on the lug nut size for tires on the premier 31 bhpr?

Are all premiers the same size lugs?

Thanks.

The 3/8" or 1/2" is the drive size for the socket to snap on.. for torqueing wheels and stuff like that you will need the 1/2" drive. Socket size is another kettle of worms and could be any of several sizes.

Sorry, I'm not understanding what you mean.

Are you saying I should buy a 1/2 torque wrench?

I'm confused. The below video says 7/8???

Do I need an adapter?

Sorry for the dumb questions, just trying to buy the correct tools.

Thanks.

A ratchet wrench (just like a torque wrench) has a square drive nub you snap the socket on. Heavy duty ones are ½" square. So you'll need a deep socket that fits on the ½" drive nub. The lug nut end of the deep socket is in the neighborhood of ⅞". I think mine is 13/16".

This is the torque wrench I bought:

I got a 4" extension like this: (but a 6" would have been better)

And this socket:

The socket snaps onto the torque wrench which is a glorified ratchet. The size of the drive on the wrench is 1/2" square... this is not the size of nut the socket fits..

I've drawn arrows to the 1/2" drive on the torque wrench and the socket..
