Here is some info

Maggie Valley is tough for name brand RV spots. Go on line to www.maggievalley.org and click lodgings, then campgrounds for a list. I would call the number provided on the master site and talk to them for a better feel.

Also, whether you are a history or motorcycle person, you NEED to visit the classic museum: Wheels Through Time. Dale has over 250 antique machines all displayed so your interest is ramped up from the moment you walk in the door. It's nationally known and unique ( To say the least ). AND the kicker is, they ALL run. You will NOT be disappointed. We rode our motorcycles from Atlanta 2 years ago. Day we were there about 200 police riders were there , Blue Knights MC Club. Dale has been featured several times on TV and is friends with Mike from American Pickers.
99.5% of museum are motorcycles .

I'm thinking that maybe I'll bring the Corvette down there instead of the TT. Thanks for the info.

You are so near the Cherokee casino and right in the heart of that area of mountains in NC. just look up RVPark reviews and use Maggie Valley as your starting point. So many campground up that way. Most campgrounds are within a 20 mile area.. I know, we have looked that area over pretty good for campgrounds as my youngest goes to school at WCU.
