adding slide covers

I have a 2013 3402RL and I'm going to put slide covers on. Above the slides are drip rails that are only a short distance above the slide. When I mount the awning rails under the rain gutters, they will almost be at the same height as the top of the slide and the slide awning will for the most part be flat and not have the ability for rain run off. Am I looking at this correctly/

Thread moved from Forum Technical Support to Modifications and Upgrades as it concerns RV slide toppers and does not address any computer related forum technical issues

Most slide toppers have a slight slope to them, some are more flat, of course you want as much slope as possible. Ours are pretty flat on our Montana and they do pool rain water..
