Question Hot water heater/furnace

Just recieved 2001 Sprinter 249 from inlaws. Propane igniter seams to be doing a quick time out without keeping burners on. Tried new igniter but same issue. Is there a limit switch that could cause this? Going camping in a few weeks and not sure if there is ele hookup for heat or is there is facility station for hot showers. I really look forward to using this with my family.

Are you having problems with your forced-air furnace or with your hot water heater? There is a furnace temperature limit switch but this would not normally open unless the furnace assembly becomes overheated.
Does the main burner not light at all or does it come on for a short period and then shuts off (lockout)?

That may be a lot of things so I'd suggest looking at the manual for this models problems. You may find a manual online also.

First of all, welcome to the forum, you'll find lots of information here, search for your questions, if you don't find the answer, or if it is confusing, then ask away...

A lot more information is needed before anything concrete can be offered. First of all, as Festus2 asked, is this the HWH or the furnace?

If it's both, then it may be the converter (if you're plugged into AC power) or it could be the battery if you're not or the propane system, or any combination of these or possibly something else.

Please advise what you're having problems with and give as much information as possible, ie: which appliance, what exactly does it do, is the RV connected to shore power, is there a battery in the RV, what is its condition, are all the fuses checked and reseated, has the igniter been cleaned and properly grounded, etc....
