The genset is a factory installed Onan 5500. The battery compartment, genset compartment, and the propane tank compartments are all exposed to air from the bottom other than support framing for the batts, gen and propane tanks and the RV's frame. I will need to check the air flow capability. The battery and pump were not hot/untouchable. However, the temp was well above the ambient temp of 90 degrees. Suspect 120. I am more concerned about the changes in temperatures causing premature problems. I am sure this type of construction has been done by Keystone on several models. Will perform an actual temp readings the next time.
