Dropping Tanks

Hi there, I have a 09 Raptor Velocity and Ii am going to mount a chock system into the garage to put my Voyager do you have to drop the tanks to do the bolt through of the brackets. And if you do is it much of a headache?

I had to drop my two gas tanks to install mine.
What I did was get real long bolts and as I took out the std. bolts I installed the longer ones and I had the tank setting on some wood and a floor jack then just lower the jack till it hit the longer bolts.

Had about 8" or 10" of working space and worked out real good.
It took me all day but was not to hard to do.

Floor integrity

Do your homework. Call the mfg. Drilling holes can sometimes alter or damage the integrity of the floor and/or the load carrying capacity. I use a Condor chock and have never had to drill. Good luck
