Second AC on 301UBH

Has anyone had any experiences adding a 2nd ac and did it make a difference? Ours came with the front bedroom rough in and we are going to add it this spring in the hopes that the coach stays cool. During the summer months, during the daytime, our trailer would rise to 80ish degrees during the day. We had one trip where it was over 90 in the trailer. Granted we were in direct sun, but the AC was set to 70 and just couldn't keep up. Will adding the 2nd ac in the front bedroom help to push more cold air to the back bedroom? If you are unfamiliar with the floor plan its a front master, rear bunkhouse set up. 34'8" long. We have a 2 year old so she just isnt comfortable having to sleep while sweating during nap time.

Need for information.
Is your rv 30 or 50 amp? If 30 it's probably not possible without some additional wiring or modifications.
You'll need to check that rough opening, I'm assuming it's a vent now not just a rough hole cut in the ceiling, for 120 volt wiring.
You may be cheaper/easier to add one of the newer portable AC units, they're about the size of a suitcase, that has a vent hose out a window, then if not needed store some where else.
I have one in my little work shop that works great.

She is 50 amp. The rough in box it’s right new to to the roof vent in the bedroom. Not sure why they just didn’t install it from the factory.

Second AC will help. If you have in command there will be some additional components needed. If not then you have to look for thermostat wires, or just use ceiling controls. Make sure the duct work is there to push cool air through the system.

If you do in fact have InCommand, here is the tutorial I successfully used to add a second AC.

It identifies the parts required as well as a fairly step-by-step install guide.

If you have 50A you can add a 2nd AC. It sounds like it is set up for it. Lots of folks do it themselves, I always have had it done. It will make a difference.

We've had non ducted front ACs and ducted. We like both. The non ducted seems louder but not a lot. It just dumps straight out of the vents into the bedroom (front). We just used a fan on top of the dresser to push that air back into the main living compartment (it would freeze the bedroom by itself). The ducted AC has a "dump" feature where you can open a grate and the air goes straight into the bedroom. We wouldn't do without that. At almost 35' a 2nd AC is mandatory IMO unless you are just going to stay above 7500' elevation in our part of the country - cooler places in others.
