Titan Flame Fireplace Glass Removal
I have a new 2018 Cougar 366RDS with a Titan Flame Fireplace. There is a huge hand print on the inside of the glass and I would like to remove the glass and clean it. However, it appears to be fastened in there tight and I am reluctant to put too much pressure on the glass in case it breaks. I removed two screws located on the right and left of the front opening, but it did not free up the glass. Does anyone have any idea how to remove this glass?

Not sure about your fireplace, can't even find who makes it, online. The Dimplex in our rig has to come out of the opening, then a couple parts come off and the glass can be removed, no other way. I take it that you don't have a manual?

If I had to guess, I would say the front glass has to lift off of 4 posts straight up. As stated, most often the whole thing has to come out first to access a locking screw or screws, I’m thinking are on the top.

I think I have the same fireplace in my 2018 Montana. Lift it straight up and out. Comes off easy!

I'll give it another try. I might have to get someone to lift one side while I lift the other. Thanks.

I have the installation and operations manual that came with the unit. According to the manual, it says to place the bottom of the glass in the opening and tilt it up and in to attach it to the fireplace. I have tried to do the opposite for removal but I am reluctant to use pry bars and excessive force if there is a screw or bolt that I have overlooked.

Not sure if this is your exact fireplace but they show a clip to remove before removing the glass.

I have the same problem. Whatever I do I can't get the front glass off. Tried everything but don't want to crack the glass by too much pressure. I have a 2018, 3810MS Montana also. Baffled big time. Puling on it the glass feels like it is attached to the main frame somewhere. It's not budging, or even moving a fraction on an inch. When I force pressure on it up it is steadfast, as if it is screwed in to something. I need to get to the back wiring. Please, anyone have any ideas!!

Try lifting straight up. That is the way mine comes off. 2018 Montana.

You shouldn't have to remove the glass to remove the fp, mine had a lip at the top with screws pointing upwards into the cabinet, then slide the entire unit out.

Removing glass front?
Resurrecting this thread...
I need to get behind my fireplace to thread a new coax for my Dish tailgater.
I have a Titan glass front unit. I have put a substantial amount of “UMPHF” trying to lift the panel up. The left hand side wiggles up and down maybe 1/16” but will not move any farther up. The right hand side is completely tight no movement. The mounting screws are behind the glass panel.
Any suggestions how to go about lifting the glass panel up and off without tearing up something (tearing up the fireplace or my back!).

fireplace removal update
Update...I got the glass panel off.
Remove the small screws on each side of the slot - then lift up and out.
I removed all six of the fire box mounting screws...and now I am stopped again.
It seems like the unit should slide out as I pull...but it is in the opening solid as a rock. There has got to be another screw or two. It is not moving at all. Does anybody know the secret move to make??
