Replacing the stabilizer motor...

Recently I had issues with my stabilizer motor not working. I also had just finished replacing my landing gear with the Ultra-fab dual motor system.

The price of a new motor was over $200. So I decided to replace it with the motor from the front jacks.
LG-196308 is a 6,500 lb replacement motor that fits Lippert jacks. The motor will fit into the gearbox of the stabilizer and has the same gear. There was a nylon gear that meshes with the motor that I removed. I did use thin washers to as spacers between the motor and gearbox because of clearance. Then just sealed up the gap and sprayed the entire assembly with flex seal. I also rewired the switch to go directly to the motor bypassing the control center. The stabilizers now operate twice as fast.
