Smile Raptor door window coverings?

Need suggestion/help, please!
We just took delivery of our wonderful new 2012 Raptor 5th Wheel Toyhauler. As we were pulling all the shades down to not feel like we were in a fishbowl while puting away all of the camping gear from our old trailer, it occurred to us that there are no blinds over the door windows! What have others done to cover the glass!?

Thanks a bunch!
Tammy

The door windows are clear? If so, you can try the static window tint baby shield thinie:

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new Raptor. Our door window is opaque - lets light in but you can't see through it. Blinds are not usually installed on the door window since the door is constantly being opened and closed and the blinds would rattle and chafe the door.
Some folks have made a fitted, removable window cover held in place with Velcro or some other similar fastener. You can also get some dark window film similar to that used to black out car windows to add further privacy.

The door windows on all of our trailers have always been opaque but if your's are clear their are many manufacturers of privacy films of all types. From tinted to frosted to brightly colored stained glass effects. 3M and Contact brands are two that come to mind. JM2¢, Hank ....... Welcome to the forum

Hi Tammy,

Congratulations on your Raptor! We have a 2011 Raptor really enjoy it.

My wife purchased some black felt cut to fit the inside of the front and back doors and held in place with five small pieces of adhesive backed Velcro. The Velcro adhesive sticks to the felt which helps placing the opposite Velcro piece on the door. The felt piece is then sewn on. We placed three pieces of Velcro at the top of the felt/door - one at the center of the round/radius corners and one at top center. The other two are placed about half way down the door. Inexpensive and easy to put up and take down. That's it.

Have fun.
