Hello from Alberta
Just joined up and wanted to say hello, Have been doing the rv thing since the late 60's, Started with an 8" shorty truck camper and probably tried most everything else over the years with the exception of a class. A. Its funny how one " needs to " keep getting bigger and bigger over the years and then you hit a point where you start going in the opposite direction...at least thats my story lol.. Decided we wanted to do some cross country travelling while we still could ( maybe still can ) so sold the okanagan fiver and the rv lot. Just bought a 2017 bullet premier 22rbpr. Having owned two cougars , a sprinter and a outback previously and had pretty much zero for problems decided the bullet would work for us. Also sold the 14 3500 ram cummins, so back to a gasser. I might be in for a learning experience as have been driving cummins powered rams since 97. LOL.. Anyways, looking forwards to maybe absorbing some of the knowledge available on this forum and more than willing to share info if I can..

Welcome to the forum from Radium Hot Springs BC.
How you progressed through the RV life style sounds familiar to these 2 seniors. Lived in Calgary/High River for many years. Enjoy your travels.

Welcome from Virginia Beach, VA. Lots of great info exchanged in this forum - you're going to like it. We will be traveling through Banff, Yoho and Jasper NP in late May and spending 4 nights in Whistlers Campground. Can't wait to see your beautiful country.

We were never very large, but we've been settled on small since our 4 children became adults. At one point we explored with the too small but think now we're perfect. With the Premier's high profile and short length, you can go just about anywhere. You'll love it.

Welcome to Alberta...I'm sure you will enjoy the scenery and hopefully the weather will cooperate. Not unusual to get a late spring storm in the latter part of may but the worst that can happen is you might have to wear a bit heavier coat for a day or two. The trip north to jasper from the banff area is one of the most scenic drives a person can make in my opinion. You should be early enough to avoid a lot of the over crowding so just take your time and enjoy.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Have been transferring all of the necessaries from the 5th wheel that had taken over my shop space today. The mrs was a bit concerned that there might be a shortage of cupboard space in the premier but so far so good , looks like we will be just fine. Like a lot of other folks,,,can't wait to get on the road..lol

NatGeo ran an article on Yoho NP some months ago. I agree - it looks like some of the most scenic territory anywhere. Thanks for your reply. We can't wait to hit the road this spring.

Worked for Parks Canada and lived in Field BC (Yoho NP) for a few years.
It is indeed worth spending some time there. Be sure to visit Takakkaw Falls and the Spiral Tunnels (lots of history here). Free to get into the park. Google for info on this NP.
