Using Ladders For Storage

I have seen a lot of people using there mfg installed ladders to store step ladders, chairs and etc. I thought that it was a good idea. So when I bought my new TT I started using my ladder to store my step ladder. However I saw a video put out by a RV dealer saying that it was not a good idea because while traveling down the road would cause addition stress and cause the mounting hardware to come loose. Anyone have experience in this?

Re: Using Ladders For Storage

I've seen many do it but I wouldn't do it. If you just mess with it a little bit you will find that they are not that sturdy. All the screws and hardware will come loose with something attached to them vibrating for miles and miles. If you use them much they will get loose anyway. I just like to stay on the safe side.
