Trailer awning

So Im waiting for my Eternabond tape to arrive from E-Bay to repair my slide out. I decide to was the awning. Well as I am standing there and waiting for the awning to dry a very small gust of wind comes up and tears the awning at the wall of the trailer. Its about a 6 inch tear but this is my frustration. We hardly ever use the awning perhaps a dozen times in 4 yrs. If the wind is more than 5 mph in she goes. Insurance company was fantastic and took it to a repair shop 15 minutes from home. Wasnt sure of this place at first they do mostly work on Rvs and sell older ones. Dropped it off yesterday and picked it up today. Put new awning arms and motor on. Thank you they did a great job and i didnt have to leave it in the shop for 3 weeks like my last minor repair(the slide with new eternabond) Happy with insurance great company to deal with and happy with Rv shop as well. Mechanic gave me lots of tips to seal the seams on the roof as well..
