2015 ram tow prep package

Wanted to get some advice from the pro's. I had a 5th wheel slider in my last dodge ram, short bed 2500 for my 2014 keystone hideout. I traded it for a new truck, 2015 ram short bed, and got the towing prep package that has the pucks in the bed to mount the 5th wheel legs directly to the frame but now I have no slider. I did not think I would need the slider with the "Max Turn Technology" Keystone talks about. Turns out that when turning sharply (did a test in the mall parking lot) the camper will hit the truck for sure. It will happen with the wheel turned as far as possible. If I turn the wheel back, one half turn, from the max the camper wont hit. I hope never to get in a campground that would be that tight but it will happen most likely. I was really looking forward to getting rid of the slider but now Im not sure. Is there any other options for me? Different Pin box maybe that pushes the trailer back a few inches? Im running the Curt 16K slider and the camper is a 2014 keystone hideout 29bhs, 34 ft. I want to ditch the slider because it seemed to be sloppy and had play in the rails. thanks in advance

I have b&w rvk3600 for ram picks and a sidewinder pin bix. Works great. Can do full lock turns and go past 90 in reverse if needed. I have 6'4" bed also.

I have a 2014 Ford F350 SRW shortbed with the factory installed Reese hidden hitch. A couple of weeks ago, we ordered a trailer with the Reese Revolution (factory OEM of the Reese Sidewinder). Come to find out the hitch only has a max tow rating of 10,000 lbs. Almost a big mistake, ordered another trailer instead. I use a Pull Rite Superglide with the Reese mounting kit. I used this set up on all of my 5'ers without issue and at 14-15k. Make sure you check your weights before making a final decision.

Reese has a slider hitch that fits into the pucks. they also make a universal adapter plate for standard rails. Check out E-trailer.com
