Satellite Connection for Passport Elite 23RB

I just purchased a 2015 Passport Elite 23RB with a single TV hookup. I am wondering if anyone has had any problems hooking up a Dish Network Receiver and Winegard X2 satellite dish. I see in the back of the trailer it just has a connection for a cable input which goes to the cubby in back of the TV for use with the OTA antenna and cable connections. I'm told this can't be used with the satellite-that it has to go directly from the dish to the receiver. Is this true, and how did you overcome it? I'm thinking, since the cubby is on the exterior wall, just adding another cable connection. But being on the "people" side of the trailer, it won't look that great.

The issue is the coax used. Regular TV cable is RG59, and satellite signal used RG6.

Once you figure out a way to route RG6 from the dish to the receiver your good to go. There are "flat" coax sections to run the cable through the edge of a slide or through a window.
