Hello all!

Looking at a new Cougar Half-Ton 24RDS as a possible replacement for our current 2013 Eclipes Milan 23RGS travel trailer. We've had it for over 4 years now and are ready to move to a 5th wheel. Tow vehicle is a 2016 RAM 2500 crew cab 4x4 diesel with the 6'4" bed. Great to be here and hope to have a Keystone some time this year!

Welcome to the forum
Hope your new choice gives you as much enjoyment as your last one. I can say from personal experience, fifth wheels tow so much easier.

Welcome neighbor!

As discussed in many posts, check the payload sticker on the driver door of your 2500. Pin weight on that 5th wheel at 22% of trailer GVWR will be 2000 lbs. Rated payload on a diesel 3/4 ton may be not give you much more than that for weigh of hitch, people/pets and cargo.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I will second what Chuckster57 said, you will enjoy how much easier the 5er is to tow.

Take care!

to the forum AZ. You'll like how that Cummins pulls that fifth wheel down the road. Good info here.
