Sofa upgrade recommendations

I have a 2013 Bullet 248RKS. I am looking for recommendations on either replacing the sofa in the slide with a COMFORTABLE jack-nife sofa or better yet a COMFORTABLE dual-theater seat. The original sofa is like sitting on an old buckboard. Any recommendations are appreciated.

We have a "super slide" which had a booth dinette and pull out couch. Both are gone in favor of a table and chairs and two recliners. We had a Lazyboy recliner loveseat and removed it as the recliners are much more comfy. Any loveseat or recliner you choose that can be shipped will likely have a back that can be pulled off so will fit through an RV door.

I ordered replacement theater style sofa from RecPro. Much cheaper than OEM replacement and very good quality. Also free shipping.

I've never found such a thing as a "comfortable jackknife sofa." Hated the JKS in my old rig, made sure we got the theatre recliners in this one, win, win, win. In the old rig, we eventually replaced the JKS with two yard-sale La-Z-Boys that we had to drag away from the wall to recline, and push back to travel, and even that was way better than the sofa.

The recliners we bought on eBay are the type that don't need to be pulled out. Can't recall what they call this feature but the recliners were not that expensive.

Or zero clearance. But for $50 for the pair for the short time we needed them, pulling them out wasn't that much of a chore!

OK, I think your trailer has a "flat floor slide" (there's no wheelwell in the way and the slide is floor level the entire length) ...

If so, then there's no real reason to keep a jack knife sofa...

RecPro has some very comfortable "RV designed theater seating" that easily goes through any RV entry door.

Our 2014 Cougar swivel chairs finally started doing the "vinyl peel" and we looked for almost a year before we decided to just "suck it up and pay the price for what DW wanted".... We bought two RecPro swivel rocker recliners. I "imagined they'd sit like any other cheap RV furniture" but if DW wants that style, I'm gonna sit and smile in "her style"... Anyway, we bought them, the price we paid was 10% off the list price (we picked them up in Elkhart and paid cash) was reasonable...

Here's the KICKER !!! I still haven't gotten over how comfortable this recliner really is. It's significantly better than the Thomas Payne stuff that was OEM and it looks just as good, fits the space just as good and DW is happy, so it's a "win/win/win" .....

You might take a look at their webpage and see if any of their modular seating or even the tri-fold sofa meets your criteria...

Oh, and if you decide to replace your sofa with another sofa, don't get the Tri-fold confused with the sofa sleeper... One has three foam parts that fold together to form a comfortable bed (tri-fold) and one has a "thin mattress pad" that folds out like a sleeper sofa, complete with the bar under your shoulder making for impossible sleep.... So, avoid a "sleeper sofa" unless it's your only option....

Here's the link to their furniture selections: https://www.recpro.com/rv-furniture/
